Flaneur — “the deliberately aimless pedestrian, unencumbered by any obligation or sense of urgency, who, being French and therefore frugal, wastes nothing, including his time which he spends with the leisurely discrimination of a gourmet, savoring the multiple flavors of his city” (Cornelia Otis Skinner).

I am an amateur photographer based in Berlin, Germany. (And contrary to the quote above, I am not French). I never studied photography in any structured manner. Over the years, I tried different cameras, then ditched them altogether in favor of mobile photography, then returned to a compact digital camera.

I am still exploring different genres while staying close to street photography and prefer smaller, short-term photographic essays. You can find my ongoing work and short new projects in the “Blog” section.
