Last Day of Summer at Mauerpark

What I like about film photography (besides the "click - rrr" sound of the shutter and rewind, obviously) is that it forces me to be a bit more careful with the planning.

Here, it all started with a roll of film found by Alex Kuvallini in a "zu verschenken" box. I wanted to capture the last days of the summer and last Sunday was a perfect opportunity: Mauerpark flea market, 30 degrees, and amazing sunlight.

Only after I shot the film, I went to look it up and it turned out it was expired...by at least 20 years

The results exceeded all expectations! I am blown away by the contrast and the colors, giving the pictures a signature "magazine" look. I hope the pics transmit at least a part of the "last days of summer in Berlin" feeling!
