Taking photos of people on the street so that a person is identifiable is generally prohibited in Germany. In Berlin, maybe even more so than in other German cities, people strongly oppose being photographed in public.

In this project, I reduced people to silouettes, shadows, shapes and textures, blurring the line between the world of advertising and the real world. I tried to capture the hectic, unstoppable, whirlwind-like movements of humans in the big city with its bustling energy.
